Eight parameters taken into account in compatibility test

-

PLEASE tell me about my career, health and finance. I have being unemployed for about three years. Will I be able to find employment? VM

YOU are in the last cycle of Saturn’s sade sati. It will end early in 2020.

Your luck will improve near this time and the door to good fortune will open.

From 2020 to 2023, you will be all right financially with a stable income. You will slowly start earning money, then make good money and find peace at home.

You need to strengthen the moon’s influence in your chart. To do so, chant “Om Namah Shivaya” for half an hour a day. Try to gain exposure to a full moon, but not during an eclipse.

PLEASE advise if we are a perfect match or if we could come and see you. KO

THROUGH a compatibility test, based on eight parameters, we can find out how compatible you are and determine how well you are matched.

In astrology, marital compatibility is based on eight parameters (to total 36 marks/ gunas):

1. Varna refers to ego development. It carries one mark.

2. Vashya refers to the

intensity of mutual attraction. It carries two marks.

3. Tara (three marks) for financial status.

4. Yoni (four) for bedroom chemistry.

5. Maitri (five) for goals, intelligence and spirituality. 6. Gana (six) for temperament. 7. Bhakut (seven) for the welfare of the family.

8. “Nadi”(eighth marks) for health.

A minimum of 18 marks is needed for a match to be declared compatible. The higher the score, the better the outlook.

Between 18 and 20 marks is considered an average match, 21-23 a good match, 24-28 very good and above 28 excellent.

For the test, we need an exact time, date and place of birth.

If the time of birth is not exact, the result can vary. Even an hour can make a difference. Provide both your birth details and I will let you know.

AN anthill has arisen in

my front yard. Is there any significance to this and, if so, what prayers or rituals are needed?

Please guide me on my future. I have a science degree, am studying environmental management and work at a hospital. I am going to be 40 and have not yet married.

I fast Mondays to Thursdays, read scriptures, chant mantras and have lit a dhiya by a tulsi tree.

There is a lot of family tension in my home. SB

YOU are a very spiritual person. Carry on praying and lighting the diya after sunset on the days when you are vegetarian.

It is very good to read Shree Hanuman Chalisa 11 times daily. You can start reading a few pages of the Ramayana daily and try to finish in a month’s time. While reading, light a ghee diya in front of Ram–darbaar.

Reading the Ramayana will bring peace and harmony to the family.

Regarding the anthill:

If any temple is looking to replace the hood of the snake on the Shivling, seize the opportunity to do so.

The whole family should do fast during Sawan month (July/ August).

During Sawan on the day of Naag Panchmi offer a bowl of milk at the hill.

During Sawan month chant “Om Namah Shivaya” for half an hour in the day and at night.
