House, stand at Prince’s Grant Golf Estate plus CBD flats up for grabs

-

IN ADDITION to two properties in the upmarket Prince’s Grant Golf Estate, Aucor will auction three affordable sectional title apartments in and around the centre of Durban city at the auction house’s multi-property sale on Tuesday in the Aucor boardroom at 16 Imvubu Park Place, Riverhorse Valley.

For those with substantial budgets, Aucor will offer an upmarket residence as well as a vacant stand in the prestige Prince’s Grant Golf Estate at this sale, but for those of more modest means, CBD apartments will also be strong attractions. The are: sectional title properties

One-bedroom apartment with lounge converted to serve as additional bedroom in the high-rise SS Bay Towers landmark building on the Esplanade, on the corner of Margaret Mncadi Avenue (Victoria Embankment) and Joe Slovo (Field) Street. The flat, which is currently rented monthly, overlooks Durban harbour.

A fourth-floor apartment in the SS Chisnor block of flats in Mahatma Gandhi (Point) Road. The flat has a fitted kitchen and one bedroom with an enclosed balcony serving as additional sleeping quarters.

Two flats in the SS Nordic block in centrally located Maud Mfusi (St George’s) Street. On offer will be a bachelor and one-bedroom unit.

The Prince’s Grant properties that will headline the sale on Tuesday are a free-standing three-bedroom residence at 34 Blink Bonnie Lane, and the vacant Erf 182.

Aucor will also stage a major multi-property auction at the Houghton Golf Club in Joburg on May 8.

The lots include two filling stations in Ekurhuleni: at Dalpark and Thokoza. The company expects strong interest in these properties as fuel retailing is an industry that is relatively recession-proof.

Absa statistics show that service stations in South Africa have a combined annual turnover of over R200 billion, with South Africa the biggest consumer of fuel on the African continent. – Auctions Writer
