PARIKSHA UDITH & MOHNISH RAMGOVIND

Mr Skyy Vodka and his lady tie the knot

-

MOHNISH Ramgovind, the brand ambassador of Skyy Vodka in Durban, and Pariksha Udith, a pharmacist at Netcare umhlanga Hospital, both 28, married on April 28 at the Kendra Hall.

HOW WE MET

Mohnish and I were high school sweethearts. We started dating in 2006, our matric year, and have since been inseparable, one a party-going extrovert and the other an introvert – an example of opposites attracting.

THE PROPOSAL AND WEDDING

In January 2016, we went on holiday to Sun City. Mohnish arranged a table for two, on the pool deck of The Palace Hotel. He got down on one knee and proposed in a magical setting. We then planned our fairytale wedding which we decided would be simple and traditional, yet elegant. We aimed for something unusual for our 500 guests.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE

Planning the wedding, we had many differences in opinion and had to find ways to compromise, to satisfy us and our families.
