70% OF IMBALI RIDGE UNITS SOLD IN 4 MONTHS

AVOCA developers have given the green light for the imminent construction of their 108-apartment “Driveway to Heaven” Imbali Ridge development on the outskirts of Ballito.

In doing so, they announced the release of the last 30 units.

By any yardstick, this is an extraordinary move, coming four months after the launch in December last year.

Avoca’s Tom Hancock claimed that despite the tough market, distinctive design and cost-saving innovations coupled with a green, secure location had collectively provided a distinct advantage over competitors catering for buyers who wanted to move to Ballito.

“We knew we could make sales rapidly, as we had a notable edge in value and innovation.

“Especially when we announced that every apartment of the three-storey block would have drive-up access, an unlikely convenience and security feature for a comparatively small development of only 108 units.

“This drive-up facility has proved to be a popular selling point.”

Coupled with fibre optic connection, rooftop solar heating, metered savings on hot water energy as well as a smart metering system for a 24-hour purchase of electricity, the overall 21st century focus, he said, had been decisive.

A survey of each buyer to date also pointed to the desirability of having Imbali Ridge on the boundary of the prestigious and leafy Zimbali Country Estate while also only five minutes from Ballito’s CBD.

“We knew if we could supply these modern 21st century conveniences and provide them in a location of beauty and security, a stone’s throw from the fastest developing town in South Africa – well, we couldn’t offer anything better.”
