KING OF KINGS

IN THE sequel to The Triumph of the Sun, Wilbur Smith’s favourite two families meet again, this time in Cairo; in the year 1888. When a jealous former lover destroys the happiness of Penrod Ballantyne and his fiancée Amber Benbrook, their vision of a shared future is shattered.

Amber joins her twin sister Saffron and adventurer husband Ryder Courtney in travelling to Addis Ababa but they soon find they may lose everything to a powerful new ruler known as the King of Kings, Menelik II.
