SA economy to grow in 2020

-

2020 is a year of optimism, and the beginning of a new era as we start the transit to positivity on a broader spectrum.

To do any world predictions we need to study the transit effect of three major planets, that is Saturn, Rahu and Jupiter, due to their slowest revolving speed around the sun. Hence their effects are intense on the Earth. Saturn takes approximately 30 years, Rahu 18 years and Jupiter 13 years to come back to the same zodiac sign.

The year 2020 is very important because it marks the beginning of a brighter phase, that is the Jupitersaturn conjunction initiates a new 20 years cycle as we enter a better period than in the last few years.

Major transits of planets in this phase occur for Saturn and Jupiter as these are both very slow moving planets and impact every facet of our life.

Without the influence of these two planets, no significant event would take place in our lifespan.

Saturn will transit from Sagittarius to Capricorn on January 24, 2020. Later it will go in retrograde motion from May 11, 2020, to September 29, 2020.

Jupiter will move into Capricorn on March 29, 2020, and then again will transit in Sagittarius on June 30, 2020. It will retrograde from May 14, 2020, to September 13, 2020.

Aside from these big planets, Rahu and Ketu will change their sign from Gemini to Taurus and Sagittarius to Scorpio respectively. These are the important planetary transits for the year 2020.

In general, some of us will focus on fun, amusement, pleasure and hobbies, while others will use their creativity, ambition, and confidence to initiate personal and or more extensive projects. In this year the hope of global improvement in terms of economic growth and development will begin.

To do a countries prediction we also need the horoscope of the country besides keeping these factors in mind. Hence we need the date of birth, time of birth and place of birth. So I calculated South Africa’s horoscope by taking April 27,1994 as the date of birth and a minute past midnight as the time of birth and Pretoria as the place of birth. This is when the country became democratic.

According to this the ruling planet for our country is still currently Saturn. We are therefore heavily affected by Saturn’s transit. Hence 2016 , 2017, 2018 and 2019 when the planet Saturn was in Scorpio, and currently in Sagittarius zodiac sign, turned out to be frustrating years for us as these two zodiac signs are not favourable for Saturn to be in.

On January 24, 2020, Saturn will transit into Capricorn sign after 30 years; this is the second most favourable sign for Saturn and as I mentioned before we are heavily influenced by Saturn’s movements. So this means good news for us, after many years.

• The economy will start its upward spiral again, after an all-time low.

• Many businesses will enter a profit zone.

• Companies will start employing people again, and in some areas retrenchments will slow down.

• Generally, finances may not be great but bills can be paid without the struggle of the previous years, so many will feel relaxed and less pressured.

• The rand will become stronger at the end of 2020.

• Unfortunately, crime and corruption are not going to leave anytime soon, but we will see a decline next year.

• Some new decisions will be taken by government, which will be favourable for South Africa as a whole.

• Motor industries, tourism, construction and real estate will be in a happier state of mind. These sectors did hit rock bottom in the past few years.

South Africa has much that will change in this optimistic year, as opportunity will come knocking, which will bring positivity into our lives. The transit allows us to live in peace and comfort compared with the previous five years. Knowledge and awareness may enable us to maximise on the transitions occurring this year. We should all keep this in mind and welcome this beginning with enthusiasm.
