Sunday Tribune

Son will live overseas

-

Q: DEAR Mahesh, thanks for your column. I enjoy reading it every week. It is the first thing I read when I receive my Sunday Tribune. I am a single mom who has been through a lot, both at work and home.

My son and my daily prayer are what keep me going. I remember my late dad’s word to have “patience” and you will achieve your goals and dreams, no matter what people do at work. I was promoted but did not receive a salary increase.

I have a 14-year-old son. Please could you tell me about his future, career and health.

He wants to choose a career next year and is considering computer software programming and gaming. He is currently in Grade 9. His ambition is to complete matric with an excellent pass and to go overseas to study and work. Will he achieve excellent results from grades 10 to 12 and in his tertiary studies?

I am very worried and stressed about him. He does his Surya Jal daily and chants to Lord Ganesha and Shiva.

On a Thursday, he prays to Lord Ganesha and Mother Saraswati. Before going to bed, he chants his mantras.

Will I be able to see my son accomplish his goals, follow a spiritual life and be successful? | SD

A: I am glad to hear from you that you enjoy reading my column. It is readers like you who inspire me to work harder and give off my best.

In one’s birth chart, the 10th house denotes house of work (profession) and the 5th house donates education. These houses are affected by the planet Rahu, therefore greater possibilities to study overseas.

He will definitely live abroad as his career will blossom there as there are many other factors in his favour astrologically. His planet moon is exalted (most happiest sign), making him very lucky and he will be very successful in his life. He should continue doing his daily routine prayers. If he continues to work hard he will accomplish his goals and what he desires will come true as his planets have the potential to fulfil his aim.

He will always be attached to you. Just do one small ritual on every new moon. He should do a thorough clean of his study table, bookshelf and his wardrobe. This practice will increase his luck in his studies, as per his planetary alignment. He should also chant Om Shree Ganeshaya Namah 11 minutes daily.

Q: I would very much appreciate it if you could provide insight into what my future holds. I am over 65 years old, a widower who leads an active life. The other issue of concern to me is that since I lost my wife I have become very close to my late wife’s sister who also happens to be a widow. Is it alright to make her my life partner or is it taboo? | KS

A: This year 2022, if you add it to become a single digit, it gives the number 6. Numerologically, the number 6 denotes the planet Venus. This planet is the natural planet of love, romance and marriage.

If you both agree, then this year is a very good year to take your relationship to the next level or work on making the relationship stronger.

Astrologically and socially, it should not be seen as taboo.
