CHINA OPENING TO FOREIGN TRADERS

-

BEIJING: China should improve the business environment for foreign investors and widen access to its services sector, Vicepremier Wang Yang said in the People’s Daily, as the country seeks to raise its global competitiveness.

Wang was recently named a member of the Communist Party’s politburo standing committee, the height of power in China, at the party’s twice-a-decade national congress.

He said China should also bring in more foreign technology and business expertise, not just capital, while stepping up outbound investment and encouraging firms to expand globally. – Reuters
