SINGER Tina Turner, 79, has released her autobiography

The memoir is filled with lessons that can only be delivered by someone who has been around the block a few times and lived to tell the tale.

Turner has disclosed that she underwent a kidney transplant with an organ donated by her husband, Erwin Bach.

In the book, Turner encourages people to sign up to donate organs.
