On a scale of 1-10, Priyanka’s on 12

AFTER a “fairy tale” wedding with American singer Nick Jonas, actress Priyanka Chopra is beaming with joy.

“On a scale of 1 to 10 in happiness, I’m on 12,” Chopra said during her wedding reception at the Taj Palace Hotel this week.

“I’m a fan of Indian weddings,” said Jonas, who has embraced Indian traditions since his August roka ceremony with Chopra in Mumbai.

There were no traces of tiredness on the newlyweds’ faces despite almost a week of celebrations.

Chopra said: “It’s all merry time… No time to be tired.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the reception. He was escorted on stage by Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, meeting Jonas and Chopra’s families with folded hands and exchanged pleasantries.

Chopra made India proud by winning the Miss World crown in 2000, and then became a leading Bollywood actress with films like Fashion, Dostana and I, followed by a rare successful crossover into Hollywood with the American TV show Quantico.

Jonas and his brothers Kevin and Joe are known for having formed a pop-rock band, The Jonas Brothers, in 2005. The band split up in 2013.
