KIARA TAKES FIRST STEPS

DURBAN North teen Kiara Mun-gavin has taken her first steps after a car crash on Christmas Eve which saw her suffer brain injuries. Doctors removed part of her skull because of brain-swelling and kept it in her abdomen for preservation, to be reattached when the inflammation subsides.
