HEAVILY pregnant Rhythm City actress Pam Andrews is expecting a son.
The former Coca-cola Popstars finalist revealed the news to Sunday World this week when we came upon her shopping for her bundle of joy at Rosebank Mall.
Andrews said she’d just come from a spa, where she’d had a massage, and decided to check out what one of the shops had to offer her little boy.
“I’m expecting a boy, can you believe it? I’m six months pregnant and will welcome my son in May.
“As you can see, I am trying to get used to walking with him inside me, so it’s a great exercise,” she said with a beaming smile.
When she was asked who the father of the child was, Andrews was unfazed.
“My husband, of course. Who do you think the father is?” she asked.
The actress says the Rhythm City scriptwriters incorporated her pregnancy into the storyline.
Last week she shot the scene in which her character Gail gives birth to a baby boy.
A Rhythm City insider says the scene of her giving birth will only be flighted in six months’ time, three months after she gives birth.
Andrews says she is besotted with her French husband Cedric Thivlin.
“Cedric and I are happy together and we are waiting with bated breath for the arrival of our boy.
“As you can see, I’m a little uncomfortable walking around with life growing inside me, but this makes me the happiest woman in the world,” she said laughing.
Her fans couldn’t hide their excitement when they saw the TV star walking in the mall.
“Gail looks cool and she is relaxed. She doesn’t have a problem posing for pictures with us.
“What a darling,” said Keneilwe Motaung.
