THE South African Communist Party (SACP) will hold its elective conference this year.

At the centre of this conference are the SACP’S blind support for Jacob Zuma, changing the SACP constitution to suit Zuma and plotting the removal of Zwelinzima Vavi as general secretary of Cosatu.

The agenda of the SACP to fight capitalism is secondary because the party cannot face current challenges as it has already endorsed capitalism.

Somehow Nzimande has accepted capitalism as long as he is guaranteed a ministerial position.

It’s a pity that Mangaung has divided Cosatu mainly because the SACP has abandoned its political vanguard role.

It is Cosatu which is now leading the SACP. That is why the SACP is now known as the South African Chaos Party. selling nyaope to young people in our communities and we look away as if we don’t know those dealers.

Porn material is easily accessed on our streets daily and nothing is done to curb such activities. I think we are in a comfort zone as a nation and that needs to change. We need to tighten law enforcement otherwise we will lose our morality.
