PSL COACH IN LOVE TRIANGLE
HEY Fat P***y! Come visit, and face me man to man. Coward! Always know where u r. Gonna f*** u up. U don t come to me. I will to u. F***** my family. U gonna pay. Coward P***y.”
These are but two of a flurry of hot text messages Bidvest Wits coach Roger De Sa (48) sent to a Free State businessman he accuses of destroying his family.
As the tiff got uglier, Deon van Rensburg (45) asked the North Gauteng High Court to keep the insults at bay.
In his application for a protection order, Van Rensburg says his nightmare kicked off in April when he started dating De Sa’s former girlfriend Nicole Henderson (42.
In court papers, Van Rensburg cites the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper coach as the first respondent and Connor Yves Sidwell as the second respondent.
Sidwell is Henderson’s firstborn son. She has two more children, aged 13 and 15, with De Sa.
“Until October 2011 the first respondent was involved in an intimate relationship with Ms Nicole Henderson. They were so involved for a period of approximately 16 years. They never married.
“According to Ms Henderson the first respondent was involved in numerous relationships with other women while he was involved ... with her. His tendency for affairs led to tension,” reads part of Van Rensburg’s af fidavit.
He continues: “He sends me filthy and very explicit messages as to what he had done with Ms Henderson at the time the two of them were still involved ... these messages all revolve around how he, according to him, sexually enjoyed her.
“The aim and object of these messages are obviously to hurt my feelings. He does.
“He harasses me ... I don’t know how he acquires knowledge of where I am but, most astonishingly, for example, when I was at Clarens on Saturday 26 May 2012 he sent me an SMS to the effect that he knows that I am at the particular hotel in Clarens where Ms Henderson and I were busy enjoying lunch with friends.”
Henderson, who has since moved out of De Sa’s house in Kyalami Estate in Midrand and stays in Sunninghill, also obtained a protection order against the Wits coach at Randburg Magistrates’ Court.
In her application documents, Henderson says: “Roger says he has a baseball bat and gun in his car. He has threatened to give me a hiding too. I don’t think he is mentally stable at the moment and I am scared of what he might do.
“He is acting completely out of character, almost psychotic. He makes continuous threats of coming to beat up my boyfriend.”
The interdict was granted and the papers were served by the sheriff of the Midrand Court.
