IN an article last week headlined Star s marriage bites the dust we erroneously wrote that Nomfusi Gotyana was cheating with her manager Sam Ngonyama. This was based on information obtained from Gotyana s ex-husband, Mike Tini.

Ngonyama is not Gotyana s manager. She is managed locally by Philip de Villiers and internationally by Stephanie Schumann.

We also erroneously wrote that Gotyana was divorcing her husband of two years, when in fact the divorce decree had been granted two months ago. Gotyana and Tini are legally divorced, so the issue of any cheating is therefore not true.

We wrote that Gotyana and Ngonyama met in January when they actually met later than that.

We attributed the reason for the breakdown of the marriage to her sleeping with Ngonyama, when in fact they were not seeing each other when she filed for divorce. Gotyana moved out of the house earlier in the year before filing for divorce.

The article says Tini got the shock of his life when he saw pictures of his wife and Ngonyama canoodling. Tini and Gotyana were already divorced, thus making this statement untrue.
