Africa Cup of Nations DR Congo ended the fairytale run of neighbours Congo Brazzavill­e when they came from behind to win 4-2 and qualify for the semifinals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations yesterday.

Congo, who were only reinstated in the qualifying tournament of this competitio­n after Rwanda were disqualifi­ed for fielding an ineligible player, led this battle of the Congos 2-0 before DRC fought back to win with four goals in the last 25 minutes.

Joel Kimwaki Mpela put Florent Ibengé’s side ahead and Dieumerci Mbokani sealed it with a conclusive win. English Premier League Leaders Chelsea remained five points clear of second-placed Manchester City after drawing 1-1 with the defending champions at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
