This week, Moloi revealed her ballooning was the result of mourning the death of a dear friend three years ago.

The host of the new e.tv talk show said: I was grieving at the time. I gained a lot of weight. Fortunately, I ve recovered and am back in the gym. I m back on my feet and enjoying work again.

I m exercising a lot look at the pictures I post on social networks. I spend a lot of time in the gym and that has done a lot of good for my health and physique.

After her stint on a dance show in 2013, Moloi focussed on corporate work, internal TV shows in the business industry and presenting her radio show on Power FM.

…My first love is TV presenting. I definitely enjoy working in front of the camera.”

After leaving Primedia s 94.7 Highveld Stereo and

two years ago, she dedicated her time to charity work and growing her brand and business entity.

I derived great pleasure from working on my own in my office. I was able to own my time. I also lived the life of a housewife, but without a hubby.

I took a break from working for a year, hit the gym and built a new house. It s so fulfilling to have your own home.”

On her relationship with previous host Lekalake, Moloi poured cold water on talks that they were archrivals.

Masechaba is a colleague and sister. As soon as we knew I was about to take over from her, we reached out to each other. We even took pictures together at the [recently held] radio awards.

I have an open mind and we both have different personalities. We can t be the same in the work we do. I know she s an incredible person.”

Moloi said her show would delve into issues affecting Mzansi youth and their experiences as black South Africans.

We don t hear many of those stories as much as we d like to. The show represents a set of young people who are under represented on the various media platforms.

I ve just finished shooting a show about xenophobia, then it will be gender, mental illness, issues affecting me and other young people s lives.

The show empowers us as young people we must start thinking critically and out of the box. We must take critical decisions for ourselves.”
