RAPE accused Mbuso Mandela allegedly beat up a 41-year-old woman after having sex with her at the home of the late state president Nelson Mandela.

These startling claims are contained in a statement made to the police by a female friend who claims that the incident happened at Mandela s Houghton home on August 11, four days after he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl.

The women opened a case of common assault against Mbuso (24) at Norwood police station.

Norwood police spokeswoman Makoma Senyane confirmed that a case of assault was opened at the station against Mandela and that it was still under investigation.

We can confirm that a case of assault has been opened against Mbuso Mandela. It appears that he slapped a 41-year-old female at his house in Houghton after they had sex, said Senyane.

According to a police statement she visited Mandela and brought a bottle of wine with her.

She went to visit her friend... and on arrival there were no guards at the gate. Her friend Mbuso opened for her and they went inside. They drank her wine and after he asked her to go to the bedroom with him.

They had sex and during the intercourse she asked him to stop. He was very irritated and when she asked for something to eat, he said there was nothing,” read the statement.

She told the police that she asked him why he was being aggressive and he told her to go back upstairs.

She said in her police statement that Mandela later tried to kick her out of his grandfather s mansion but she refused to go.

She explained that she could not ride her bicycle at night. She could not go to work the following day because her face was swollen,” said the statement. He slapped her twice.” When contacted for comment, the woman asked to be given time to consult with her lawyers.

She later said she had been advised by her lawyers that section 14 of the Constitution of South Africa says no one is allowed to infringe on my privacy and I m not saying anything about this matter and you can t use my name in your story, otherwise my lawyers will sue you

Mandela s lawyer advocate Marinda Veldsman refused to comment on the matter.

I don t speak to the media,” she said.
