YOUR SOAPIES THIS WEEK

-

SHWA worked harder than L vovo Derango and Khulubuse s kitchens this week to bring you some of the hottest tea in Jozi.

My week started at the Circa Gallery in Rosebank where SAB launched a new beer, the Carling Blue Label.

Now Shwa has zero ambitions of having a phuza face in this lifetime from that strong beer, but I can safely say it s very lovely. Hell yeah I even recommend it.

Eight glasses later my sidekick was still standing and he came to work in very high spirits the next morning. So, yes it s also light on the babalas. Whoopi!

MC for the night was social commentator and smart mouth Khaya Dlanga.

He told us his very boring success story back in his days as a strategist for whatever company and how he was an awesome employee blah blah blah . Yawn!

Can we please stick to the programme next time.

I am not sure if rapper Reason was already drunk but he was the only one so amused by Khaya s dry jokes he started sounding like an overly excited groupie hoping to go home with him.

Still on Reason, he held it down during his performance. I saw everyone on the dance floor. He also looked good in black torn jeans and a black jacket that made Shwa imagine things. Sigh!

But Reason I am sure your optometrist said you must wear those shades in the sun not at night in dim rooms. It didn t look cool either ask DJ Sbu.

And what happened to your wedding ring? Trouble in paradise? Don t worry Shwa is still single. Wink! Oh and I spotted Y-Fm reject DJ Mac G. Do you guys remember him? That loud guy who was fired for being a loose cannon? He also had a range of condoms with fellow DJ MoFlava called Rock da girls.

Anyways, talk about a blast from the past. He looked a bit destitute. Shame, life after fame must be tough, hey.

Shwa admires Mantsoe Pout from Y-Fm s sense of style... this girl strives for individuality.

It felt weird seeing her without Thando Thabethe because she has taken a role of being her human shadow.

After getting drunk my side kick and I headed straight home and got ready for the launch of the new Powerball features and the Powerball plus in Kramerville on Thursday morning.

As if we are not tired of giving away our hard-earned R3,50 s in hopes of winning millions which we never win, Powerball is introducing a Powerball Plus and more games.

For you hopefuls the jackpot on December 1 will be R50-million. So, keep playing, who knows?

Actress and now Lotto presenter Katlego Danke is very beautiful. Not sure about the dress and coat she wore which made her look like a rural housewife at a wedding. Come on girl, we all know the Lotto pay cheque isn t that bad. Use it wisely. And don t be shy to write moi for tips.

e.tv presenter Zola Hasatsi was also there in high spirits as usual. This guy is so hyper-active I wouldn t be surprised if someone tells me he jumps around in his sleep. Too much energy that one! SKEEM SAAM (SABC1,

6.30pm) THE past comes back to haunt Tbose as he breaks another heart and Marothi faces violence.

Wallet is determined to make his enemies pay and Rachel s rebellion shoots to another level.

Alfred puts Mapitsi and Sonti under pressure to come clean and they turn against each other.

Ranthumeng stuns everyone at the family meeting while Teboho tells Mulalo she s coming home.
