THE sound of glossolalia and prophetic language will reverberate in the Incredible Happening Church on Saturday, November 5 when people from all walks of life converge to pray for rain.

Organised by church leader Paseka Mboro

” ” Motsoeneng, the fivehour national prayer session will start at 8am and end at 1pm.

The session will be broadcast live on Soweto TV from 11am to 12pm.

Among dignitaries invited to the occasion was Minister of Water and Sanitation Nomvula Mokonyane and Ekurhuleni mayor Mzwandile Masina.

Motsoeneng confirmed he organised the communion in a bid to end the drought that is crippling the agricultural sector. The agricultural sector contri“butes about 2.2% of the GDP, so it is a significant sector which relies largely on the rain to thrive. So without the rain, the sector will suffer and affect our economy, which is hardly growing,” he said. Motsoeneng added the growing call by the government institutions for people to preserve and save water also precipitated them to convene the session. While they are coming “up with ways to save this precious resource that is water we want to ask God to make it rain so our dams and reservoirs can be filled.” Mokonyane s spokesman ’ Mlimandela Ndamase said she was considering the invitation. Masina said he would attend if he was available.
