Simply unsuited to Shwa

-

SHWASHWI was shocked upon receiving an invite to the launch of a cellphone by Lenovo. Yes you heard right, a Lenovo smartphone.

Due to curiosity, Shwa and a companion set aside busy schedules and attended the launch at the Theatre on the Track in Kyalami, north of Joburg. DJ Fresh was the MC for the evening.

He was all suited up, looking like a bouncer at an upmarket nightclub in Sandton.

He was the only celeb Swha spotted, even after an extensive celebrity hunt at the event.

When he joked that a lot of people came to the event for free alcohol and a free device, Shwa got a little excited thinking attending the event was not a waste of her precious time after all. Shwa endured listening to white men with strange accents raving about Lenovo, all with the hope that it will be worth it at the end. I mean really who cares what Lenovo did in the past 10-years, #Yawn.

But eventually the device was unveiled and Shwa must say it is actually a breath of fresh air. It has new and better features.

The phone has features that can be attached and detached from the device. It is the speaker, the Insta-Share Projector and the power pack for charging as well as the Hasselblad True Zoom for the camera. When all these are detached the phone is razor thin.

Shwa was already imagining herself playing hard on the new gadget, but dololo. We all went home empty handed.

Shwa felt the invite was deceiving because it said Suit up for an evening to be unforgettable ”.

“Shwa didn t find anything wow about it and

’ the phone is expensive, R13 000 nah nah!! No wonder my Samsung Note 7 suddenly became even more adorable... just nje!
