AWARD-winning house music fiend DJ Cleo is accusing his development coach Linda Meso of being ungrateful.

Meso, who has been coaching Cleo s DCF Sports

’ soccer team, has allegedly disappeared with the musician s soccer kit and balls

’ under the pretext he went to church to perform rituals.

The revered artist was forced to suspend training for his club for almost two months after Meso left him and his players high and dry in August.

Meso is said to have reemerged as a coach at an amateur side Phatsima All Stars in Rustenburg, North West.

As a result, Meso has severed communication with the hitmaker.

Cleo, whose club comprises amateur and out-of-contract professional players looking for jobs in the Absa Premiership, confirmed Meso marooned him. Despite all the financial “assistance I have given him, he still betrayed me and my team. The most affected are the players who have since stopped training because of the stolen items. I helped him financially “when his wife passed away because I was thinking I m

’ helping a brother. Now the parents of the boys “are complaining. But we will soon resume training and groom young soccer players,” he said.

Meso said he would hand over Cleo s kit and balls when

’ he returned to Joburg. I don t want to work with “’ that man anymore because he is a control freak. I was angry, when I told him that I would not be coming for training because I was taking my child to the clinic in Polokwane, he responded by saying so what

‘ must I do?’ I was hurt by that and I told him how I felt. I know he helped me bury my wife but I want out,” he said.

Meso confirmed he joined Phatsima All Stars and he was happy to be part of the team.
