A night of glitz and motivation
SHWA mingled with the cool kids on Thursday at Diesel s
’ new brand project based around its #forsuccessfulliving strapline at their Mall of Africa store.
The evening culminated in a series of 50 motivational phrases relating to the Diesel philosophy, each #forsuccessfulliving visual is a tip from Diesel to you about living well, staying true and doing things differently.
Such as #9 Be Brave; #13 Never Tire and #40 Have Fun. Good advice is great advice.
The night started very slowly, y all should know by
’ now that Shwa is impatient.
The shindig was supposed to have started by 6.30pm, but an hour later there were still people who came for the free booze
– must be my fellow comrades.
At this time not even a single celebrity was spotted.
As Shwa was on the verge of throwing in the towel and walking out hip-hop artist Khuli Chana walked in alongside his wife. The two are just too cute love birds.
While Shwa was still drooling over Khuli s love
’ life, I spotted Ashes to Ashes Nyalleng Thibedi pulling a runway walk with some chest out and chin up.
Shwa was harshly reprimanded by the actress for not being so nice.
But Shwa was impressed that you took the grooming advice and implemented it. #Welldone.
Rapper Solo was also spotted being true to his name, he was rolling solo. Where was your bae Dineo Moeketsi?
Oh, and congrats on scoring that best dressed award from GQ. Who ever styles you is doing an excellent job at making you look dapper.
Also spotted was former YFM DJ Eda Rose who looked like she had just relocated from a remote village in the Eastern Cape and is still getting used to city life. That Indian-inspired outfit let you down hun.
7de Laan s Mimi Mahlasela walked in there like she was bipolar.
And that outfit, where did you think you were going hun? Hhayi no, some effort next time please.
Generations Getty, whose real name is Siwe Dweba, arrived when it was time for the afterparty. Shwa knows which celeb came for a Phuza Thursday ... but we don t kiss and tell.
’ Creatives Innocent and Justice Mukheli, DJ Kyle Cassim and blogger Ricci-Lee Kalish were dressed by Diesel.
Vicky Crease Catering designed a menu for those willing to try new things, offering innovative and brave eats to match the campaign.
