Vehicles sales rev up

New vehicle sales continued their strong start to the year, with 2 899 more vehicles sold in February than the previous month. Export sales also increased 12.3%in the month.

However, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers CEO Mikel Mabasa said the industry was concerned about the escalating geopolitical tensions due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The timing of the confrontation came at a time when the global auto industry was trying to recover from the devastating impact of Covid-19.
