Werner Kapp takes over from Nyati as Altron CEO

Jse-listed technology company Altron has appointed Werner Kapp as its new CEO. He replaces Mteto Nyati, who left the company in June.

Altron executive chairman Stewart van Graan said: “Werner will drive our vision as Altron to become a pre-eminent technology services provider with ambitions to strengthen our local and global presence in the digital solutions market.”

Kapp was at Dimension Data for over 22 years in various leadership positions.

Kapp said: “This is an exciting and challenging opportunity, and I look forward to working with the board and employees in taking Altron to its next phase of growth as a successful and sustainable business that responds to our customers’ challenges.”
