Hip-hop family comes out in numbers to support K.O

-

Yours in gossip is booked and busy hopping from one listening session to another. The other day it was AKA, who was launching his new single ‘Lemons Lemonade’, and a day after that we had Ntokozo ‘K.O’ Mdluli who launched his album.

Mr Cashtime is seriously setting the bar higher with his single ‘Sete’ featuring amapiano superstar Young Stunna and Blxckie. The rapper told mwah that his hit single, which was certified platinum in just 16 days of release, is a melting pot of sounds and talent.

However, the listening session, which took place at Rockets in Bryanston, was not just about ‘Sete’ but the entire album that the hip-hop star released last Friday. The man of the moment arrived at his own time, but explained he cannot keep time. I guess he can only keep “Cashtime” and not real time. Anyways, a big up to you for reviving hip-hop and making us remember what a legend you are and have been throughout the years.

The hip-hop family came out in numbers to support K.O as he shared his new offering to hiphop lovers. Shwa spotted several stars who took time out of their-not-so busy schedule to support the guy. I mean, you never know with these hiphop guys these days, if they are not making diss tracks, God knows what else they are doing.

Sjava and Emtee arrived together, and

it was very interesting to see that their friendship is still intact even after the drama at Ambitious Records. They sat together with some girls and were joined by Stilo Magolide and Somnyama, Blxckie as he is affectionately known.

The guys were having a really good time chilling with some girls at their table, but they didn’t seem interested in what was happening. My guess is they came for the vibes but at least they showed up. Emtee and his friends, however, really put Shwa off when they started smoking their weed in a closedup area. Are we all now supposed to get high with y’all?

It was good to see L-tido at the launch out there to support his long-time friend.

Pabi Cooper, who is always looking lost, looked ravishing seeing that she is also featured on K.O’S new album. Shwa really loved the pink hair. The hair reminded mwah of TDK Macassete, who also made an appearance but looked super bored. By the way, what is it that you are doing with your life, young lady?

I will never understand AKA and Nadia Nakai’s relationship, but as long as it makes sense to them, then who am I to judge. The two, who were hosting a party downstairs, came upstairs to support K.O. I’m not entirely sure if it was support or was it because no one bothered to go to their dead party downstairs? AKA had his party the night before, but the couple looked good together, although they looked like they needed a private room.

AKA’S party came in handy because after the session, everyone proceeded downstairs for an afterparty.

Also spotted at the listening session was the talented Msaki, Zuma from Amaroto and Vuyo Ngcukana, who all came out to

support the boy.
