He entered the National Teaching Awards for the second time after interacting with teachers who had also participated. “I thought I was doing excellently until I met other teachers,” says Tsotetsi. He was motivated so much that he went the extra mile to teach learners on platforms which are relevant in this day and age. Most learners know how use these platforms for social purposes, but the narrative has to change and teachers are there to help learners unlock this unlimited world of opportunities through technology, he says.
