Creative thinking Made2Fly

- XOLILE MTSHAZO

OUT-of-the-box thinking by founder and creative director Charma Maluleka has turned Made2Fly Entertainment into an all-in-one specialist agency.

Maluleka (29) founded Made2Fly in 2011 after networking and applying his 14 years of experience in the entertainment industry.

His passion for everything creative started in 2001, while in high school, as a musician signed to an independent record label.

Based in Joburg, Maluleka says his love for work involving music, TV, advertising and market research industries, helped him start his company.

His passion for developing young talent helped him introduce talented individuals to the local entertainment industry.

After seeing a gap in the market to offer entertainment alternatives, Maluleka started the agency.

Many companies have the potential to grow, but may not have the budgets to put up billboards, TV commercials and radio adverts.

But how do they stay relevant and competitive? That’s where we come in.

We provide affordable but effective solutions that help these companies reach a wider audience than traditional media can.

I call it on-theground’ solutions because we physically go to various areas before activating the plan and experience the lifestyle and habits of the people there to ensure the activation plan we develop has been thoroughly researched and is relevant.

Maluleka says his passion is to unearth fresh and new talent that will improve the quality of our local entertainment industry.

I work with actresses, radio personalities, musicians and even behind-thescenes talent, including producers, directors and writers because our country has a lot of raw talent that needs to be discovered and groomed.
