Boxing sponsors are racist

The best way to raise funds for boxing tournaments in SA is to have a boxing promoter to raise the money through sponsorships.

However, there are two kinds of boxing promoters in this country. We have poor black promoters and white, very rich promoters.

Hence, when promoters go out to seek funding for tournaments, big companies fund according to the promoters’ skin colour.

Therefore, black promoters end up getting less and whites are given sponsorship money in “big bags” just because of their skin colour.

Nothing has changed in SA since 1994.

In fact, I think white boxing promoters are punishing black boxers by underpaying them for living in a democratic SA, hence they pay the black boxers peanuts when fighting against white pugilists.

I can foresee a day when black boxers will toyi-toyi for a better purse one day and the white promoters will be very disappointed.
