Leaving a Will helps prevent drama of ugly family fights
I waited for the storm to settle before expressing my opinion about a trend I see emerging – fights between in-laws and mostly wives and very seldom, husbands of the departed.
One of the highly publicised instances was that of the Tsambo family versus Lerato Sengadi. Taking each other to court is embarrassing and uncalled for.
In this day and age, this shouldn’t be happening because there is what we call a last Will and testament.
It does exactly that, your Will. Sengadi said it was HHP’s wish to be buried in Joburg and we will never know whether that was true.
But if HHP really wanted to be buried in Joburg, do you think he is resting in eternal peace?
The fights and court cases will cease when we leave a Will with all our wishes clearly stated in there. We act like we do not know that we’re all going to die someday.
