Municipality ignores overgrown verge

Charles Pellew writes: I TOOK these photos (of an overgrown verge and blocked stormwater drain) in November last year and sent them to the Ward 10 councillor, Raymond Schenk.

He in turn passed them onto the department of community services. They contacted me and said that they could not open the pictures. I re-sent them and they said that they would send them to the department of infrastructure.

To date nothing has happened other than that the weeds have grown higher and the vegetation has become more dense.

As Croydon Circle is not on the route taken by our annual visitors, I suppose that there is no need for them to clean up the drains, overgrown sidewalks and open spaces which are likely not to be seen.

My neighbour, however, has his holiday home adjacent to my home and he notices.
