The ne­ces­sity of oc­cu­pa­tional health and safety train­ing

Oc­cu­pa­tional health and safety train­ing is a le­gal re­quire­ment in terms of Sec­tion 8 (2) (e) of the Oc­cu­pa­tional Health and Safety Act, 1993, which states “pro­vid­ing such in­for­ma­tion, in­struc­tions, train­ing and su­per­vi­sion as may be nec­es­sary to en­sure, as far as is rea­son­ably prac­ti­ca­ble, the health and safety at work of his em­ploy­ees”.

Peo­ple Man­age­ment So­lu­tions is able to as­sist with train­ing, so that your com­pany is com­pli­ant. The mod­ules are avail­able sep­a­rately or as a pack­age. The pro­gramme is ap­proved by SAIOSH (South African In­sti­tute of Oc­cu­pa­tional Safety and Health). The mod­ules are:
