Big entertainment at the Little Theatre
As the only dedicated theatre in Port Alfred, the Little Theatre on the Wharf will be hosting some stellar acts this festive season.
With Christmas done and dusted, why not get to the Little Theatre on Thursday December 27 for a fun night with The Stone Jets.
Hailing from Cape Town, the Stone Jets comprises Manfred Klose on guitars, Eduan Joubert on drums and Given Nkanyane on vocals and bass. The band creates toe-tapping music wrapped in soul and traditional elements.
Formed in 2013, songs from the trio’s first two EPs have been featured on national television and play-listed on commercial, campus and community radio stations across the country.
They’ve played all South Africa’s major festivals and continue to grow their fan-base wherever they share their sound.
The show is from 6pm to 8pm and tickets cost R120.
Then, on Saturday December 29 Shannon Hopkins, a local lad and son of Little Theatre impresario Louise Hopkins, will present
Hopkins described it as “a time-lined chronicle of my journey on stage and musical theatre from school days to amateur theatre to the grand stage, featuring my favourite performances from and tribute stage performances of Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Chris de Burgh and Queen.”
The show starts at 7pm and tickets cost R100.
Contact Louise Hopkins on 065-809-3677 for bookings and other information.
