PEDESTRIAN HIT
ON THE SCENE: Members of SAPS, traffic officers and ambulance staff converged at the corner of Van der Riet and Main streets in Port Alfred on Tuesday afternoon when an elderly woman was hit by a Quantum taxi while crossing the road. The victim was treated in the ambulance on the scene and appeared to be in stable condition
