Eastern Areas pairs finals

The Eastern Areas Bowls pair’s finals were played at Kenton Bowls Club this weekend in superb weather. It was an all Kowie Bowls Club affair in both the men’s and ladies pair’s finals. Jackie and Megan Kriel emerged the winners over Judy Alexander and Helise Hattingh by 24 -15 in a tightly contested ladies’ final.

Stan Long and Lennie Clark edged Jacques Krige and Jason Prince by 27 shots to 14 in the men’s final. It is not often that all the finalists are from the same club. Well done Kowie.

Thank you to the Kenton team for excellent organisation once again. Kenton will also be hosting the EP Pairs finals on May 8 and 9.
