I work for Wimpy Port Alfred. I’m front-of-house personnel.

Q: What is the most satisfying aspect of the work you do?

Meeting up with all TV stars and football players who visit Port Alfred.

Q: What is the one tourist aspect you would recommend to a visitor to the Sunshine Coast?

Come over and enjoy our most beautiful sea.

Q: If you have a bucket list, what is the top item you would like to do?

There is a Big Brother Mzansi show on TV I would like to be part of.

Q: What is your motto in life?

The sun does not always shine. It’s alright to fall apart sometimes.

Q: What keeps you motivated?

Being able to control my actions, receive recognitio­n for what I’ve done and learn new things.

Q: With the high unemployme­nt rate in SA, what do you think could be done to address the situation?

Change in industrial techniques, change in the education system, and more assistance to selfemploy­ed people.

Q: Do you think enough is being done to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet? If not, what do you think could be done to change it?

Not really ... Consume local and seasonal products/forget strawberri­es in winter and limit meat consumptio­n, especially beef.

Q: What is your favourite music of all time?

I’m a Brenda Fassie fan . . . golden oldies

Q: What is the one item that is always in your fridge? Water.

Q: If you could be president of SA for one day, what would be the top three things you would do for your day in office?

Ensure the best education is available for every child, better service from the department of health and a corruption-free South Africa.
