MULTI SECURITY CRIME REPORT

On Monday May 16 at 9.10am Armed Response attended to a panic signal at Nkonjane Street and on arrival requested Guardmed Private Ambulance Services. Later at 7pm, Armed Response responded to a robbery on Alfred Road. The suspect fled into bushes, but some items were recovered.

On the same night at 8.10pm Armed Response attended to an alarm signal at Causeway Road. The client reported that the premises were locked up, but found that the passenger side back tyre of a vehicle was stolen.

On Tuesday May 17 at 10am the Control Room received a call from a client reporting theft on site the previous night at Albany Road (unprotecte­d area. Armed Response manager attended to the complaint and a case was opened.

On the same night at 12.30pm a client phoned in reporting that a vehicle had been broken into at West Beach Drive. Armed Response and SAPS attended, and the suspect was caught.

On Wednesday May 18 at 4.28pm a client phoned in reporting a bicycle stolen on Alfred Road. Armed Response and SAPS attended and a case was opened.

At 10:30pm that night a client requested armed response to check the area of Beach Crescent and Putt Road as their dogs were very restless. Armed Response attended and patrolled the area.

On Thursday May 19 at 2.30am

the Control Room received a deep alert activation of two men walking in Pike Lane. Armed Response attended and patrolled the area.

On Friday May 20 at 12.50am

the Control Room received a deep alert activation of youngsters walking up and down Campbell Street. Armed response attended and asked them to leave.

On Saturday May 21 at 5.20pm

someone phoned in reporting a positive break-in at Flame Lily Road. Armed Response and SAPS attended and a case was opened.

On the same day at 5.30pm a

client phoned in reporting a positive break-in in Dove Lane. Armed Response and SAPS attended. The alarm was not armed but a case was opened.

On the same day at 6.04pm

Armed Response attended to an alarm signal and positive breakin at Thornhill. It was reported that the beams were ripped off.

On the same evening at 2.30am Armed Response was requested at Princess Avenue when a suspect tried to break in. Armed Response attended and the suspect did not gain entry. At 2.35am an alarm was received at Princess Avenue. Armed response attended to an alarm signal where a client reported there was a suspect in the yard and patrolled the area.

On Sunday May 22 at 1.32am

Armed Response attended to an alarm signal at Dickerson Drive in Station Hill, where the fence had been cut.

During the night shift duty, at 5.30am Armed Response attended to an alarm signal at Southwell Road. A positive break-in was reported and the SAPS was informed.
