AI am currently working as a Financial Controller doing budget control, monitoring and reporting.

What is the most satisfying aspect of the work you do?

The opportunit­y to interact and be able to assist wherever I can. Getting to work along with other colleagues/employees so as to achieve our organisati­onal goals.

What is the one tourist aspect you would recommend to a visitor to the Sunshine Coast?

A game drive, and learning more about nature and its beauty.

If you have a bucket list, what is the top item you would like to do?

To travel and explore the Eastern Cape as a whole.

What is your motto in life?

“ALL IN GOOD TIME” What keeps you motivated?

To know that my delayed success is not my denied success and have faith that it will still happen when the timing is right.

With the high unemployme­nt rate in our country, what do you think could be done to address the situation?

First of all, I think our people need to be educated to understand that employment can also be self-created. One has to try and make means of living. We do not have to expect to receive everything from the government, and If everyone can be compassion­ate and try to reach out to those who are less fortunate.

Do you think enough is being done to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet? If not, what do you think could be done to change it.

No. People need to be taught how carbon footprint affects our environmen­t. It is when people have knowledge and awareness of carbon footprint and its effects, that they will be responsibl­e for their actions.

If you could be SA president for a day, what would be the top three things you would do for your day in office?

Draft a plan to source funding to cater for the needs of all orphans and abandoned children.

Ensure that education is easily accessible to everyone.

Draft programmes for ongoing Health Awareness and also programmes on zero tolerance of violence in general.
