Spar Steak Evening raises funds for Hospice cancer drive

The Steak Evening which took place at the Port Alfred River and Ski Boat Club on Friday October 28 was the second steak evening of the month held by Spar (Sunshine Coast Spar, Rosehill Superspar, Nemato Spar) owners Lesley and Craig Theunissen in aid of the Sunshine Coast Hospice Cancer Drive.

“Our sincere thanks to all helpers and all who supported our annual October Cancer Drive. A special word of thanks to the following:

“Kenton Dias Club (Jessie and Tommo) and Port Alfred Ski Boat Club (Chantelle and Anthony) for accommodat­ing our steak evenings; the PAHS Interact Club; and the Hospice teams for the sale of the cupcakes and raffles.

“And a special thank you to our community for your amazing support of this worthy cause.

“As a Spar team we proudly announce that we made R60,000 for the Spar October Cancer Drive,” said Lesley.
