One-stop beachwear shop

An exciting beachwear store is opening in town where you’ll find all your quality brands at affordable prices. Situated at shop 1 in Heritage Mall, M!X has top brands, beachwear merchandise and accessories in store. You can find Billabong merchandise, VonZipper sunglasses, skate boards, shoe ranges by DC, Element, Kustom and so much more in store.

The store’s name comes from a mission to make available the best from different beachwear brands in one independent store.

When business owners Duncan Badenhorst and Ankia Smith went on a deep-sea fishing trip and couldn’t find suitable clothing to wear anywhere in town, the idea of a one-stop shop for beachwear in Port Alfred was born.

The store has a relaxed, fun, beach feel. M!X is working on adding more famous brands into their mix, with Kappa, Roxy and Quicksilver soon to join their range of stock.

And you can shop till you drop thanks to their introduction of loyalty cards and a store account starting in December.

M!X will stock beachwear for all sizes, including a plussize swimwear range.

“We’re going to cater for the fuller figures in swimwear because we want to cater for everyone. Everybody must be able to walk in and find something that is of good quality and at an affordable price,” says Smith.

The independent store is having unbelievable opening specials all month long with discounts up to 50% off on selected items running until November 30.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm; Saturday 9am-3pm and Sunday 9am1pm.
