BATHURST HISTORY:

Margaret Snodgrass of Lower Albany Historical Society (LAHS) presents a donation to members of Historic Bathurst, from left, David Forsdyke, Vernon Butler, Tom Barrett and Rod Hooper-Box. LAHS members enjoyed an outing to Bathurst recently, but were almost blown away by the wind. The main attraction was the Powder Magazine in its beautiful setting on newly cleared ground. The poster displays inside on local military history are richly informative. St John’s Church, the Toposcope Monument and the Bathurst Agricultural Museum were also on the itinerary.
