Owner Malcolm Southey is committed to creating a pocket of excellence in Makhanda providing value-for-money garden products and services in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

The natural tree canopy on the property simulates a natural garden environment and creates the perfect space for plants to grow healthy and strong, thriving once planted out in a garden.

The nursery stocks a wide variety of indigenous and exotic trees, shrubs, roses, ground covers, climbers, Bougainvilleas, fruit trees and seedlings. The growing media, fertiliser and chemical selection is wide and suits most garden enthusiasts, stocking the well-known Culterra, Makhro and Talborne brands.

The indoor plant selection is large and varied. they also hire out plants and pots for functions, as well as hiring them out on a longer-term basis, providing monthly care and maintenance.

Among the plants, Sunnyside Garden Centre also stocks bags of pebbles, gravel, and river sand.

Terracotta clay pots, solidly built concrete pots, water features and ornaments are also available to decorate your garden.

High quality Kirchhoffs vegetable, flower and herb seeds are also on offer.
