Tennis Cup

Four teams of four players entered for the competitions, two men and two women per team.

They played men’s doubles, women ’ s doubles and then two mixed doubles matches against each team.

We were lucky to have wonderful weather on Saturday morning for the competition to finish.

The players thoroughly enjoyed the day and we hope that the tournament will grow next year.

The team from Beacon Bay was very strong and did not lose a match. They are wonderfully crafty players and especially good at the net.

The local teams challenged them and good tennis was seen. The Oasis team were second.

It was a fun day for all involved, with friendships made.

Breakfast, snacks and lunch were served. The teams had a braai on Saturday evening with a lovely atmosphere.
