Mbulelo Mabizela (right) is at it again.

The controversial AmaZulu defender was reportedly involved in an altercation with team-mate and fellow defender Robyn Johannes after their 3-1 loss to SuperSport United on Saturday night.

Mabizela was handed a lifeline by Usuthu in the second half of the season after leaving Mpumalanga Black Aces after another bust- up with the AmaZayoni time, Clive Barker.

Johannes is said to have launched a verbal attack on Mabizela on their way to the changeroom as he blamed him for one of the goals United scored in the match.

The spat is something AmaZulu do not need given that they are rooted to the bottom of the table. The Durban-based side are yet to indicate what action may be taken against the players following this fallout.

Usuthu’s

coach at the

failure to beat United at Moses Mabhida Stadium did not help their cause as the try to avoid the drop.

Daine Klate, Thuso Phala and Jeremy Brockie scored for Gordon Igesund’s United, while AmaZulu’s lone reply came via striker Sadate Ouro Akoriko.

A win could have seen them leapfrog Moroka Swallows, who are second from bottom, but they could not do that.

This means that their destiny is not in their own hands anymore and they need to win their last two games and hope that Swal- lows or Chippa United falter in their final games. Usuthu have 24 points, Swallows are on 27 andChippa have 29.

Chippa lost to Free State Stars on Saturday and are now third from bottom. Stars’ 2-0 win over the Chilli Boys saw them climb to ninth spot to ease their relegation woes.

On Wednesday AmaZulu travel to Tshwane to face the University of Pretoria, Swallows face Ajax Cape Town away and Chippa will also be away to Mpumalanga Black Aces.
