ROBIN SCHULZ: IN SOUTH AFRICA FOR A POWER WEEKEND

German DJ and hit maker, Robin Schulz, pictured, arrives in South Africa this week for a jam-packed weekend at Sound of Light. Schulz will be headlining events in Durban on Friday, Johannesburg on Saturday and Cape Town on Sunday.

The DJ from Osnabruck has become an international star, breaking one record after another. He entered the Worldwide Shazam Charts at number one and gets dancefloors pumping all over the globe with his own productions like Sun Goes Down, featuring Jasmine Thompson. He also remixes for big names such as David Guetta, Coldplay, Lykke Li and many more. Headlights, featuring Ilsey is the latest release from this mega-hit DJ.

Until now, Schulz has scored a full 17 number one chart positions. He is the only German act to date to have achieved more than 200 million views on YouTube and with Headlights he once again underscores his status as a visionary figure in electronic club music.

Headlights saw its premiere at the Echo Awards (German Grammys) on March 26. Schulz was nominated in three categories – dance national, newcomer national and hit of the year, and presented a top-class medley of his international hits. In addition to the storm of applause for his performance, he won the prize for dance national. Robin Schulz is not merely a star in his genre, but is also a genuine pop star who knows what it takes to move the masses.
