The player with the highest chip winnings from a single buy-in will automatica­lly win the first prize.

The Roulette Masters Tournament Unit Finals are set to take place at Mykonos Casino on Saturday, March 5, where two lucky players will win the opportunit­y to compete in the Grand Finale at Silverstar Casino for total prizes valued at a whopping R3 million and a guaranteed first prize of R2 million.

The two finalists from Mykonos will be flown to Johannesbu­rg, all expenses paid, to join 40 finalists from all 14 casinos and will get to represent the Western Cape in the group semifinals and grand-finale at Silverstar Casino in Johannesbu­rg on March 19.

Qualifying rounds are currently underway at Mykonos Casino, until March 3 – daily from 3pm until 10pm – and will culminate at a thrilling unit final, with R25 000 up for grabs for the lucky finalists.

The player with the highest chip winnings from a single buyin will automatica­lly win the unit first prize of R10 000 and qualify for a seat in the group semifinals, bypassing the unit semifinals or finals. A total of 20 players will play in the unit semifinals, from which the top six will take their seats at the unit finals.

Cash prizes up for grabs at the unit finals are R5 000 for first place, R4 000 for second place, R3 000 for third place and R1 000 awarded to players in fourth to sixth place.
