CAKE BOSS: FAMILY BUSINESS IN FULL SWING ON TLC

-

Join the next step of the Valastros.

This month TLC brings you brand new episodes of Cake Boss. Buddy Valastro is one of the most renowned cake artists in the US and the master baker of Carlos Bake Shop in New Jersey.

Returning for season eight, get ready for bigger and much more mind-blowing cake creations.

In this season, there’s a lot of changes at the bakery, but it doesn’t stop the team from whipping up more outrageous creations, including a pirate-themed cake, a cake cactus for the New York Botanical Gardens, a beer cake for

an Oktoberfest celebration and a harvest-themed cake to kick-off the autumn.

Plus, Valastro is broadening his horizons as he gets ready to open a new bakery in Connecticut.

Watch as Valastro tries to juggle between family health scares and graduations, to proving that traditional recipes remain the best. Being the boss is not always easy for him, especially working with his sis- ters – who are opinionated about everything and still twist his arm to get access to all the lush events.

Added to the excitement this season, Buddy is challenged to a cannoli face-off from a budding 17-year-old baker who thinks he’s the best. Is this the case of teaching an old dog new tricks, or proving that there’s no school like old school?

Last season Valastro went back to basics of what he loves most – cake and family. After 50 years and millions of customers, the Valastro family reminisced over the memories in the shop as they renovated it. Meanwhile, the orders still come in and the baking must go on.
