Wits and Real Madrid look bankers to win

-

We had a full-house in the highlighted Soccer 6 Pool over the weekend and nine out 10 in the Soccer 10, which is motivation to go one better in midweek.

The featured Soccer 6 Pool midweek is today and contains three PSL games, two Champions League encounters and a potentially tricky game between League One leaders Sheffield United away at Oxford United. M1 Orlando Pirates v Supersport United: There is little doubt that new Pirates coach Kjelle Jonevret has had a positive impact, evidence of which existed in their pulsating 1-1 draw this past weekend against arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs. They will need to take the same attitude into this game against third-placed Supersport United, who are unbeaten in their last 18 league games. M2 Platinum Stars v Golden Arrows: With both teams posting workmanlike wins in their last

outings, this is difficult to predict. But Stars should use home soil to their advantage. M3 Chippa United v Bidvest Wits: Chippa is a tough team to beat in Port Elizabeth, but Wits have looked like championship contenders since day one. They should collect another three points to sustain their title challenge. M4 Arsenal v Bayern Munich: Arsenal looked ordinary in their 1-3 defeat at Liverpool over the weekend and trail Bayern by a massive 1-5 margin after their thrashing in the first leg in Germany. The only question mark is that we cannot be sure who the respective managers will name in their starting line-ups. Go all three results. M5 Napoli v Real Madrid: With a 1-3 deficit from the first leg in Spain, Napoli will have to chase this Champions League game, which may just play into the hands of Real Madrid, who look a banker.

M6 Oxford United v Sheffield United: Although Sheffield top the standings in League One, their recent form has not been inspiring. They play away to a dangerous Oxford United, who have won five and lost two of their last seven league outings. Go wide.

Suggested R324 selection for the Soccer 6 pool on today 7 March S6 V1 P1 is: M1 =1, 2, 3; M2 =1, 2; M3 = 3; M4 =1, 2, 3; M5 = 3; M6 =1, 2, 3.

The featured Soccer 10 pool is also today and only two games in the Soccer 6 are included. Stay with the same common selections, while the additional bankers are in Birmingham City in M3 and in M8 Ipswich Town to overcome Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Suggested R384 perm for the Soccer 10 pool on Tuesday S10 V2 is: M1 = 3; M2 =1, 2, 3; M3 = 1; M4 =1, 2; M5 =1, 2; M6 =1, 2; M7 =1, 2; M8 = 1; M9 =1, 2; M10 = 2, 3. For all TAB’s soccer pools this week go to www.soccer6.co.za
