TAB offers a great new soccer bet

Time Bomb, TAB’s great new R1 bet, launches this Saturday and is set to deliver life-changing payouts to those lucky enough to win it outright.

To win the bet outright, players must forecast the time frame (details below) in which the first goal (own goals included) is scored or choose the no-goals option in each of five soccer matches (M1 to M5).

There’s a R1-million guaranteed payout if there is only one allfive correct winner.

Betting on the first Time Bomb pool is already open. The next pool will be on Wednesday 12 April and thereafter there will be pools every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.

It’s super difficult to win outright, but there are consolation payouts for any four and any three correct and over 50% of the pool will be returned to players each time.

There are 29 time frames and the no-score option to choose from in each match. Each option or time frame is allocated a number. Players must use these number/s to make their selection/s in each match. Numbers for each option or time frame are shown at the end.

A single-entry (one choice per match) costs R1. You can also play a permutation or multiple entry at a cost of R1 per combination. There’s also a R1 Quick Pick option in which TAB’s computerised betting system chooses the numbers.

Each pool will be divided as follows: 40% of pool: all five correct 30% of pool: any four correct 25% of pool: any three correct 5% of net pool: to reserve fund.

Monies in the reserve fund will be returned to players though special pool bonuses from time to time.

If there are no any-four correct entries, 55% of pool will go to anythree correct winners (or any-two or one if necessary. Consequently 55% of pool will be returned to players every time.

Any match in a Time Bomb pool not completed by 9am on the day after the last day on which matches in the pool were scheduled, shall be deemed abandoned and all choices shall qualify.

The portion of the pool set aside for all-five correct will be automatically carried over and all entries will qualify only for consolation payouts.

Each bet can only win one of the payouts.

Time Bomb can be played online or at TABs. Use the normal horseracing betting card to play - mark the TBM venue oval and Race 1 plus your numbers.

Time Bomb is hosted on the Isle of Man and host rules apply.
