Car population explosion in China

Beijing – In the first half of 2017, 9.38 million new cars were registered in China, taking its car population to 205 million.

By the end of June this year, China had 328 million car drivers.

The number of motor vehicles has reached 304 million and that of all motor vehicle drivers was 371 million, as of the end of June 2017. China’s traffic management bureau said 49 cities have more than a million cars each. – Xinhua
